Our Story
JB's Coffee & Kitchen isn't a concept cooked up in a boardroom — it's a neighbor opening a restaurant for their community. The owner was born on Grand Island, grew up here, and still calls this island home. That's not a marketing angle. That's the whole point.
Every item on our menu is made from scratch, every morning. Our sausage and burger blends are ground in-house daily. Every coffee syrup is made here, from scratch. When we say homemade, we mean it — because we know you can tell the difference.
JB's fills a gap that's been missing on the island: scratch-kitchen quality at counter-service speed. No waiting for a table. No fuss. Just exceptional food and coffee, made with care, ready when you are.

We’re counter service. Order at the register, grab a seat, and we’ll bring it out or call your name.
Yes. Call us at (716) 775-5533, order online for pickup, or get delivery through our online ordering. Ordering ahead is the easiest way to skip the line on a busy weekend morning.
Weekend mornings, especially 8am to 1pm. If you’re in a hurry, order ahead or come early or after the lunch rush.
Yes, and we take it seriously. We have a fryer and a toaster used only for gluten-free food, and every section of the menu has a GF option, including gluten-free rolls, sourdough, bagels and wraps, a gluten-free cutlet and gluten-free weck. Our griddle is shared, so let us know at the register and we’ll walk you through it.
Yes. The Impossible Smash, Plant-Based Breakfast and Avocado Toast are vegan, our brioche is vegan, and we offer plant-based swaps across the menu, including plant-based cheese and a plant-based chicken option on select sandwiches. Look for the V on the menu.
Oat milk, specifically Oatly Barista, in any drink at no extra charge. Every house syrup is vegan except dark caramel and maple brown butter.
Yes. Any of our espresso drinks can be made decaf. Just ask at the register.
Our espresso and drip are roasted in Buffalo by Tipico. Tea and chai come from Cup of Communitea in Williamsville. Every syrup is made here from scratch.
Yes. Our espresso blend and drip coffee are both available by the bag at the counter.
Every day. Top round roasted low and slow overnight, shaved thin to order, dunked in au jus, on a kummelweck roll we finish ourselves.
Yes. Our Beef on Weck travels well, and we also sell sliced deli meats, cheeses and rolls by the dozen. Give us 48 hours’ notice. A 50% deposit holds the order, and pickups are scheduled outside the lunch rush.
Absolutely. We have a kids menu for 12 and under, $6 each: a cheese quesadilla, ham and cheese, or turkey and cheese.
Plenty. You can park out front, on the side, or behind the building.
Yes. There’s a ramp to the front door and an accessible restroom.
